LED Light Therapy

Harness the Power of LED Light

At Facetology RN (FRN), we offer LED Light Therapy, a scientifically advanced, non-invasive treatment that uses precise wavelengths of light to address various skin concerns such as acne, fine lines, and inflammation.

This therapy works by penetrating the skin to stimulate cellular activity, boost collagen production, and accelerate healing. The treatment effectively reduces redness, kills acne-causing bacteria, and promotes a smoother, more radiant complexion. Whether you’re targeting irritation, signs of ageing, or enhancing your skin’s natural glow, our consultation will personalise this effective therapy to meet your specific needs.

  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 48 hours before treatment to minimise the risk of skin sensitivity.
  • Arrive with clean, make-up-free skin to ensure best results.

Is LED Light Therapy Safe for All Skin Types?

Yes, LED Light Therapy is safe for all skin types and tones. It’s a non-invasive, gentle treatment that can be customised to address a variety of skin concerns without causing irritation or downtime.

What Does the Red Light in LED Light Therapy Do?

Red light therapy in LED treatments penetrates deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production and boost cellular repair. This helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, and enhance overall skin firmness. Additionally, red light therapy increases blood circulation, promoting faster healing and giving your skin a more youthful, radiant glow. It’s particularly effective for targeting signs of ageing and supporting overall skin rejuvenation.

What Does the Yellow Light in LED Light Therapy Do?

Yellow light therapy in LED treatments focuses on soothing and calming the skin. It helps to reduce redness, inflammation, and irritation, making it particularly effective for sensitive or reactive skin. Additionally, yellow light boosts circulation and lymphatic flow, which aids in detoxifying the skin and improving its overall radiance. It’s ideal for brightening the complexion and providing a healthy, glowing appearance.

What Does the Blue Light in LED Light Therapy Do?

Blue light therapy in LED treatments targets acne by penetrating the skin to kill acne-causing bacteria. It helps to reduce active breakouts, prevent future ones, and control oil production, making it particularly effective for acne-prone skin. Blue light also has anti-inflammatory properties, helping to soothe and calm irritated skin while promoting a clearer, more balanced complexion.

Can LED Light Therapy Help with Rosacea?

Yes, LED light therapy, particularly with red and yellow light, can be highly effective in managing rosacea. Red light therapy helps to reduce the inflammation and redness associated with rosacea by calming overactive blood vessels and promoting skin healing. Yellow light therapy further soothes the skin, reduces irritation, and improves circulation, which can help minimise the appearance of rosacea flare-ups. This gentle, non-invasive treatment is safe for sensitive skin and can significantly improve the overall appearance and comfort of rosacea-prone skin with regular sessions.

Can LED Light Therapy Help with Eczema?

Yes, LED light therapy can be beneficial for managing eczema, particularly through the use of red and yellow light. Red light therapy helps reduce inflammation and promotes healing by stimulating cellular repair processes, which can soothe irritated skin and reduce the frequency of flare-ups. Yellow light therapy further calms the skin, alleviates redness, and improves circulation, which can enhance skin hydration and reduce the discomfort associated with eczema. This non-invasive treatment is gentle and safe for sensitive skin, making it a supportive option for those dealing with eczema.

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON OUR COMMUNICATION REGARDING COSMETIC INJECTABLES

To ensure clarity and consistency across the industry, the TGA has updated its guidelines, restricting the use of terms like ‘wrinkle injections’ or ‘dermal fillers’ in promotional content. These terms, including any acronyms, nicknames, abbreviations, or hashtags, are prohibited if they could lead a consumer to reasonably interpret the content as promoting a specific prescription-only medicine. Our communications will now align with these guidelines to ensure compliance and uphold the highest standards of responsible advertising.
